Studying law and found this book hard to master. The chapters are very dense and un-organized. There is almost information overload going on here. However it will help you pass a course related to the subject, just make sure you have a lot of time on your hands and are computer friendly.

Difficult to read. Very boring even though the subject is interesting. I agree with another reviewer who thought the material is poorly organized. This is one of the most badly written college textbooks I’ve ever used. You probably are required to read this for a course, so grit your teeth and get through it.

Seriously. This is such a terribly boring text…. But there is nothing exciting about law citation.

Pick a new career path if you’re looking for excitement. Paralegals are the grunts and get no glory. This book is proof.

The book was an interesting read and a decent addition to the curriculum, I didn’t need the book for my class ( my lecture had covered everything that was on the test [for any interested, my class was psych 101 with Professor Bloom at UW-Milwaukee]) which made me upset about spending the money on it, but I felt like it did supplement the in class lecture rather, going over it and adding a few more notes here and there.

It’s good and clean, but the corner of the book was bent -___-

The Subtle Body Practice Manual: A Comprehensive Guide to Energy Healing 1st Edition

The Subtle Body Practice Manual: A Comprehensive Guide to Energy Healing 1st Edition
Author: Visit ‘s Cyndi Dale Page ID: 1604078790

Review

“Spiritual scholar Dale (The Subtle Body) offers a comprehensive guide for practitioners of energy healing. There’s a cornucopia of healing modalities and practices, she explains, ranging from Eastern and Western medicine to field-based healing and bodywork . . .Written in a clear and compassionate yet businesslike tone, this work will be a go-to guide for anyone considering energy healing as a vocation or avocation.”
Publishers Weekly, June 2013

“Cyndi Dale has accomplished something that I haven’t yet seen done by any other author for this genre. She masterfully presents a very personable, understandable, and comprehensive exploration of the science and practice of energy medicine from ancient times through now. This is one of the most understandable explanations of how energy medicine therapies work that I have ever read.”
Cynthia Hutchison, Director of the Healing Touch Program

“The Subtle Body Practice Manual is pure, healing treasure-and everyone from doctors and healthcare practitioners to parents and teachers will find life-changing information and practices in these pages. An invaluable resource.
Christiane Northrup, M.D., OB/GYN physician and author of the New York Times bestsellers Women’s Bodies, Women’s Wisdom and The Wisdom of Menopause

“Cyndi Dale is clearly the 21st century expert on energy medicine-she takes the reader to the leading edge of this emerging, exciting field with her brilliant insight and intuition. This is the perfect encyclopedic guide to harnessing the energetic wisdom of both ancient and modern traditions in a hands-on way. Everyone-patients and practitioners-would benefit by having this book on their shelves for reference and for everyday living.”
Deanna Minich, PhD, health expert and author of Chakra Foods for Optimum Health

Praise for The Subtle Body:

“The Subtle Body is truly an encyclopedia that covers the field far more comprehensively than anything I have seen.”
C. NORMAN SHEALY, MD, PHD, author of The Creation of Health

“An extraordinary body of work. The Subtle Body belongs in the library of every truly conscious person on the planet.”
CHRISTIANE NORTHRUP, MD, author of Women’s Bodies, Women’s Wisdom

Paperback: 384 pagesPublisher: Sounds True; 1 edition (August 1, 2013)Language: EnglishISBN-10: 1604078790ISBN-13: 978-1604078794 Product Dimensions: 8 x 1.5 x 10 inches Shipping Weight: 2 pounds (View shipping rates and policies) Best Sellers Rank: #39,240 in Books (See Top 100 in Books) #37 in Books > Textbooks > Medicine & Health Sciences > Alternative Medicine #47 in Books > Health, Fitness & Dieting > Alternative Medicine > Energy Healing #82 in Books > Medical Books > Psychology > Psychotherapy, TA & NLP

This book contains an incredible amount of info. You can read it cover to cover or chapters at a time and its always going to please. The ONLY real complaint I would have is that its too heavy! Lol but worth it. This and the companion book by Dale, The Subtle Body, are an essential book combo for any energyworker. A++

It is a great guide for a practitioner in the holistic field. It is sort of a repetition of her book of Anatomy.

This is a textbook sized powerhouse of information in the subtle energy body and practices. I have read a lot on it, but this is the best book I have read on the subject. A bookshelf find!
